I understand the Americans less and less. How can this happen in a country that keeps on claiming every day that they want to bring democracy, human rights and civilisation to the world. What do they know about these things? Why don't they start by educating their on people. Is it a necessary effect of living in a country where you can buy weapons in the supermarket, that people make use of them, in such a disgusting and egoistic way? Once waepons are at hand the beast is set free?
Maybe the situation Iraqis have to face is much closer to the American mind than I ever thought. Then of course Americans don't think that the way Iraqis have to live in their post war country to be as unsupportable as I do. They maybe then really think that there was an improvement compared to the Saddam area.
