Trento II

Not much going on here, the last days. I apologize and offer you the excuse of a broken wrist. I am a bit handicapped, typeing goes very slowly, but worse is: next week comes my bike and I won't be able to use it straight away :-{.
Well, my hand is not the only thing that handicaps me, my Italian is quite poor. It's enough to go watching movies and to get the overall picture of TV debates but unfortunately, it's mostly passive. I have a hard time to say even very simple things.

And I wonder, what do Italians do in the evening/night? Bars and restautants close at midnight latest. Where do they go then? Home? Or is it just Trento?

Is it your first time to be in Italy...

The best part of trento are mountains :)

No, I have been in Italy several times before, but only for up to two weeks. I perfectly agree about the mountains, but there is this stupid "scafoide" which I have broken and which prevents me from doing anything exciting.

About

My name is Magdalena Luz. I grew up in Switzerland. I studied physics at Humboldt University Berlin, where I used to live in "Nordkapstrasse" (North Cape street). That's how this blog got its name. After a short intermezzo in Copenhagen, DK, I live now in the amazing city of Wuppertal. This is a place the wild, wild West of Germany, built on 7 hills, (which is really the only thing it has in common with Rome) It is populated by the strange species of homo germanicus occidens communis, also known as 'gemeiner Wessi'. And even with her it is light years away from ever being like Berlin.
