thefts

What would you think if you found a box, some kind of a quickly assembled wooden box just somewhere at the street. In this box there are two half broken bicycles piled up, not really nicely put, but just thrown into it. Both of them are not locked. Hm, to me it looked like garbage and I took one. So, if ever the owner of one of them wants his bike back, please contact me.

By the way it was at Nørre Allé and the bike is a red female bike.

cool, do you need the bicycle repair book? Legally, it is probably theft. At least it would be in Germany: here it's theft even if you take something out of a trash container (as a policeman once told me when I did that). I think I would have waited a couple of says before taking the bike: maybe somebody lives in that box...

About

My name is Magdalena Luz. I grew up in Switzerland. I studied physics at Humboldt University Berlin, where I used to live in "Nordkapstrasse" (North Cape street). That's how this blog got its name. After a short intermezzo in Copenhagen, DK, I live now in the amazing city of Wuppertal. This is a place the wild, wild West of Germany, built on 7 hills, (which is really the only thing it has in common with Rome) It is populated by the strange species of homo germanicus occidens communis, also known as 'gemeiner Wessi'. And even with her it is light years away from ever being like Berlin.
